IMPLEMENTATION OF A LEADER INTERN PROGRAM OFFERING A HANDS-ON WORK EXPERIENCE AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL-AGE YOUTH. PARTICIPANTS GET PAID AN HOURLY WAGE BY UNITY IN MOTION TO COMPLETE VARIOUS DUTIES - WHETHER ITS CLEANING UP OR HELPING OUT MARTIAL ARTS AND DANCE INSTRUCTORS - AS PART OF THEIR REGULAR WEEKLY SESSIONS. ALONG WITH MAINTAINING A MINIMUM GRADE POINT AVERAGE OF 2.0 IN SCHOOL, MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW UP ON TIME AND IN APPROPRIATE DRESS FOR EVERY ON-SITE UNITY IN MOTION SESSION - JUST LIKE THEY WOULD FOR A FULL-TIME JOB. BASIC SAVINGS AND MONEY MANAGEMENT SKILLS ARE TAUGHT AND PUT INTO PRACTICE THROUGH THE UNITY IN MOTION POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION CURRICULUM.FORMALIZATION OF THE POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION CURRICULUM. A 14 COURSE PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS THAT CONSISTS OF BASIC FINANCIAL LITERACY, CAREER EXPLORATION AND HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE. ALSO, A 20 COURSE PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS THAT CONSISTS OF INTERMEDIATE FINANCIAL LITERACY, CAREER EXPLORATION AND POST-SECONDARY APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE.IMPLEMENTATION OF A FORMAL CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO TRACK AND INFLUENCE OUR YOUTH THROUGH POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. WE HAVE ESTABLISHED SHORT-TERM MILESTONES AND LEADING INDICATORS TO GUIDE OUR STUDENTS ON THE PATH TO REACH THAT GOAL. WE ALSO EMPLOY A COLOR-CODE TRACKING SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS US TO PRIORITIZE OUR YOUTHS' NEEDS AND THE BEST RESOURCES TO ASSIST THEM.IMPLEMENTED A SMALL-GROUP, VALUES EDUCATION PROGRAM MODULE TO OUR WEEKLY SESSIONS.
