In 2018, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art offered engaging programs and exhibitions that celebrate our region's culture and enriched our diverse community. Welcoming more than 100,000 visitors in 2018, BIMA continued to expand its offerings of impactful exhibitions, diverse cultural programs and stimulating educational experiences to members of our community on Bainbridge Island and beyond. BIMA produced twenty exhibitions with emerging through master level artists. Highlights include a major retrospective of artist Alfredo Arreguin, our first-ever large artist's book show Open Sesame, and the release of BIMA's fifth published book, on artists Jenny Pohlman & Sabrina Knowles, in conjunction with the solo show Synchronicity.
