We provide assistance to families caring for cancer patients.

We provided up to 3 months of financial assistance to individuals caring for a family member with terminal cancer and in hospice care. Funds are normally paid directly to the service providers -- utility and mortgage companies, medical and burial services, etc. In 2019, 122 people benefitted by receiving grants, and over 1,230 people were given cancer care kits. We conducted a social worker symposium to share information about financial resources available to families in need. Grant recipients were all unrelated to our Board members, officers, donors, or their families.
