Mission

Capitol Commission is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ in the capitol communities of the world as well as following the biblical mandate of praying for our elected officials nationwide. We presently endorse or have state ministers serving in 24 state capitols. They have a ministry of presence to legislators, staffs, lobbyists, and others in those capitols. The states we presently serve are: AR, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY. Our state ministers teach weekly Bible studies for legislators, lobbyists, and staff. These studies are distributed to each capitol office, e-mailed and are available throughout the capitol. Events held are: Pastors' Commission at the Capitol, prayer breakfasts and election-eve prayer walks.
