About

Immigrant Pathway Institute: A 40-hour training based on the curriculum of the Immigrant Legal Resources Center, but customized for the purposes of Immigrant Hope. Its purpose is to train volunteers and staff so that they are prepared to seek and receive Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accreditation. This ensures that volunteers and staff can be trained to effectively and legally provide services for immigrants and in so doing demonstrate and share the Christian gospel. Two 40-hour trainings were conducted in 2018 with 44 participants trained. The goal is to offer training annually to volunteers and staff who will be able to staff future Immigrant Hope centers.
