Domestic violence: Dove House is the only protective domestic violence shelter in Butler County. It provides emergency housing for victims of domestic violence and their children. The program also offers support through a 24-hour crisis hotline, safety planning, and domestic violence support groups. Staff incorporate knowledge of trauma in all aspects of service delivery to enhance healing and facilitate recovery. Other services include community outreach and education, as well as training for community groups such as medical professionals, law enforcement, and educators.
