Hope 2 Others International Provides Clean Water For Those in Need
About
Hope 2 Others International is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing clean water to those in need throughout the world. Our primary work is centered on offering individual families or groups of families the ability to own their own well, which creates not only dignity but long term sustainability and self-sufficiency. We are dedicated to employing and empowering locals to bring this goal to fruition. By manually drilling our wells and designing our pumps from locally available parts, we provide a family a source of clean, safe water on their own compound for less than $200. The family pays a small fee, according to their ability, to support our drillers and helps in the drilling process. Once drilling is complete, H2O donates the materials to case the borehole and create a hand pump. This pump provides readily accessible water for drinking, cleaning and irrigation of a garden to provide a year round food source.

Accomplishments
- Internationally, hope 2 others international has trained 21 local gambians in west africa to manually drill water wells. this year they drilled approximately 250 water wells in that region. it also purchased, imported and transported all materials used to case the wells, construct hand pumps and finish the wells to keep the water pure. these materials were donated at no cost to families. Expenses $0.
- Domestically, h2o's #waterheals program began in fiscal year 2017. the program which is dedicated to empowering others through water sports, was a great success. we ran 10 weekly learning camps that served 120 people and hosted an additional 7 non-profit groups, serving their staff and participants (152 people). we also partnered with several other boat owners to host two large events designated for single moms and their kids and a local mission center serving a wide range of folks who don't have equal access to many services for healing. during these two events 160 people got a chance to be a part. additionally, #waterheals provided support on an all day event for amputees. all of this was accomplished for $2,047 of operational expenses.
