LifeSpark Cancer Resources provides comfort, support, and healing to individuals with cancer, matching cancer patients with Reiki and Healing Touch providers for weekly sessions. In 2015, the organization introduced a new model of service that included the following three changes: 1) after ten years of charging sliding scale fees, LifeSpark sessions are now offered at no cost 2) for those who are homebound or too sick to travel, LifeSpark now goes to them in their homes and 3) LifeSpark created a partnership with Elements Massage and began offering sessions at 13 Elements locations from Boulder to south Denver. In 2016 the organization provided over 2,000 session hours for over 200 individuals with cancer and provided mini-sessions at ealth fairs and cancer events. Over 100 volunteers actively participated. The organization received donated space and provided sessions at the following facilities: Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Aurora, Lakewood, and Littleton, Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, 13 Elements Massage locations metro-wide, and five churches (Lakewood, Longmont, Boulder, Conifer, and Colorado Springs).
