The Carriage House assists women and men with serious mental illness to recover and reintegrate into the community. We use the non-traditional and evidence-based Clubhouse Model to help people to live and work in the community independently and with dignity.

The Carriage House (Fort Wayne Clubhouse) is an accredited 'Clubhouse Model' program with the singular mission of assisting people in their recovery from mental illness and reintegration into the community. In a non-traditional setting, 'members' work side-by-side with staff on meaningful activities, building the confidence and self-esteem necessary to reclaim their lives. The clubhouse is open six days per week, a total of 54 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year. Last year we provided over 44,000 hours of service to more than 480 different individuals. In addition, we assisted 76 people to attain or maintain employment in the community, and 47 people to sustain or improve their housing.
