Mission

The mission of the PbS Education and Employment Foundation is to turn around the lives of youths who get in trouble with the justice system. Education and employment are key to all youths’ becoming successful citizens yet there are few opportunities to help youths who’ve been involved in the justice system overcome the disadvantages that likely led to their system involvement and remove the barriers they face because of their system involvement. PbS Learning Institute (PbS) challenges youth-serving agencies to deliver the most effective and research-based services and to support them with a data-driven improvement model, expert coaching, training and technical assistance that helps them achieving positive outcomes.
