Reins of fh.o.p.e. provides equine assisted psychotherapy to the Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles communities. Our mission is to provide a safe, positive, and professional therapeutic equine experience to underserved youth, military personnel (active duty & veterans), first responders, their family members, and other individuals who have suffered a traumatic life occurrence or are in need of support. Our vision is to enhance and build healthy relationships, improve mental health, and build resilience in vulnerable, at-risk populations through evidence-based equine assisted psychotherapy and learning. We also conduct sessions at and for drug treatment centers. In 2018, we served over 750 new clients and saw over 2,000.
