TGRCNM is dedicated to serving the transgender and gender non-conforming communities in the state of New Mexico and strives to exist as a clearinghouse for resources which can support, assist, educate, and advocate for these communities and their families and loved ones. TGRCNM provides social, educational, emotional, and functional support for all facets of transgender and gender non-conforming living and promotes mutual understanding, acceptance, and equality to achieve a more positive and healthy society.

TGRCNM's resource center offers drop-in services including emergency assistance, food, clothing, counseling, a computer lab, access to medical providers, legal assistance and ID document support. TGRCNM also offers peer support groups for the transgender, non-binary, and gender variant people of New Mexico and their loved ones. During 2019, TGRCNM provided on-site assistance in Albuquerque and at a satellite office in Las Cruces to support communities in southern New Mexico. TGRCNM also provided visits and support for participants who are incarcerated throughout the state of New Mexico. During 2019, TGRCNM provided approximately 3,690 meals and more than 500 monthly bus passes. TGRCNM also provided approximately 456 hours of facilitator-led support groups. In addition, TGRCNM provided 251 sessions of TG101 trainings across the state of New Mexico.
