Mission

The Twin Cities Media Alliance is a media arts organization dedicated to equipping community members with the power of media arts to define and amplify their narratives, connect across communities, and ultimately drive new thinking and engagement around their stories.

About

Media Arts Projects: Our Space Is Spoken For. In 2018, we launched our new media arts project, Our Space Is Spoken For, a multidisciplinary public art storytelling project where Saint Paul residents of color and artists of color came together to create public art performances based on participating residents' stories around the spaces in which they live, work and play. The process to create the performances, and the performances themselves, were documented by film, publicly screened, and broadcasted via St. Paul and Minneapolis public access channels -- ultimately, preserving a creative record of life in our communities.
