About
Last year, 2016, had proven to be a year that was filled with many challenges for our ministry, but at the same time, it was full of Gods grace and his many blessings. While the number of souls touched by Jesus has increased exponentially, the lack of staff has hindered our ability to share this information with you in a timely manner. To this, we humbly ask for your forgiveness. Your support both financially and in prayer has led to the success of Faith Covenant International, DBA, Cry of the Persecuted Church Ministry for another year. Without your assistance, we would not have been able to reach as many souls or implement the additional programs that we were able to set up in 2016.We have implemented additional technology such as the Barkat television program, Skype conferences, Facebook updates, Viber, IMO, WhatsApp on cell phones, YouTube, and radio programs to reach more people in their homes and communities; more than ever before. We share three of the ministry phone numbers, two from the United States and one from Pakistan with those who participate in these forums, allowing them to reach Pastor Masih, Daniel Singleton, and Pastor Elisha Razzaq. Because of this increase in viewers, they have been receiving more and more calls each day asking for counseling, prayers for their salvation and family members and for healing. Praise God! There have been days and nights in the past year that the phone rings non-stop, but we are willing to do anything for the glory of God. Our goal as a ministry is and has always been, to reach as many lost souls as it is possible so that they would be saved and set free. The countries that we were able to help in some way, in 2016, were Pakistan, America, India, Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. We were also blessed by God to be able to travel to Egypt and Australia sharing the Gospel with others. Let us report the work that we were able to accomplish from January 2016 through December 2016.Pakistan We are currently supporting twenty-three pastors in ministry, for the Cry of the Persecuted Church, in Pakistan. In 2016, these twenty-three Pastors evangelized to almost 161,000 people, water baptized over 700 new believers, listened to almost 11,000 lost souls repent and accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and healed over 2,100 people of various illnesses and afflictions. Glory to God!There are currently two Bible Schools in Pakistan who have worked with and are training forty-six students in 2016 to preach the Word of God. Two instructors/pastors have been training the next round of pastors to continue our goal of reaching as many lost souls as they are able, saving them and setting them free. The television project, Barkat T.V. is another avenue that is actually going into the homes of believers and non-believers alike, giving them the experience of listening to Gods Word in a way they have not had an opportunity to experience before. While this endeavor is quite costly, we cant put a price tag on a persons soul. This television show brings in over ten thousand calls to the station monthly, with at least one thousand calls or 10% responding to the message Pastor Masih has been blessed by the Holy Spirit to share. Our ministry phone numbers are given out each time allowing a wide variety of calls to come in each day. Because of satellite, we are able to spread the Word of God through these programs to an additional 120 countries. Gods Word is reaching so many more households. The programs have also been saved to YouTube for others to go and watch at any time. Our YouTube Channel is called "Praying for the World."Ten families were set free from the slavery in the brick factories. More than 5 girls were set free from the bondage and then arranged to be married. Over 100 poor Christian students were able to attend school. We paid for their school fees, uniforms, and other needs. Many others have received medical help.United States of America In March of 2016, Pastor Masih started a daily prayer line which begins at 3:00 a.m. (Mountain Time), and continues for three hours each morning. The phone number and access code have been made available by contacting either Pastor Masih or Daniel at the ministry numbers. Numerous prayer warriors throughout the United States, Australia, and other countries get on the phone line each morning, as they are able. They pray and intercede for other individuals, their families, each other, their communities, their country and the world.Pastor Masih had several speaking opportunities this last year in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, and Illinois.India Persecution is taking place in India. Our pastors are beaten, hurt, and in much pain for their religious beliefs and teachings. But they are willing to preach the Gospel at any cost. Praise God!Three years ago we started one church with the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the true church planter. He uses those people who yield to Him. We thank God for our main contact, Pastor Lingam, and his team. We were able, through their prayers and hard work, to establish 103 churches in India, which are run by forty pastors. We also assisted in building more than five churches in India. We support an orphanage in India, called My Fathers Home, where we help by providing the orphans with clothing, school uniforms, and books. As it states in James 1:27 (KJV), Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction Through the grace of our Lord, we have been able to help the widows and orphans. In 2016, Pastor Masih had the opportunity to hold more than ten Skype conferences. Through these conferences, thousands of people gave their life to Jesus. He was also able to hold a Pastor teaching seminar through Skype, training and supporting the Pastors in their spiritual growth. These Skype seminars eliminate the expense of travel that would be incurred going to India, but the behind the scenes costs are still there. As he speaks from his living-room, spreading the Word of God, many are working behind the scenes to gather and invite the people, interpret for them, feed them, and ensure the sound system and technological needs are met. The average cost last year to put on each crusade was $2.00 per person, and the number of people per event sometimes reached 15,000-20,000 people. This would put the approximate cost around $30,000 to $40,000 per crusade. But as we stated earlier there is no cost to be placed on a persons soul.Sri LankaIn 2016 we were able to send money to help construct a church building, our partner church. Right now we have one main pastor who oversees and supports many others in spreading the Word of God. UgandaLast year Pastor Masih and Daniel were able to return to Uganda to continue training the pastors and making videos to train others who feel the call towards ministry. Pastors and church leaders from all over Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi participated in these events. A crusade was planned in Eastern Uganda during the last four days of their trip. While the three pastors and two orphanages are not 100% funded as of the end of 2016, we are sending what we are able each month. The team leader from the Redemption Childrens Orphanage took several young men to Kampala and Uganda to evangelize and spread the Word of our Lord and Savior. Another young man from the orphanage, Exodus Kids, in Uganda has helped evangelize to 500 people in 2016. Another young man oversaw evangelism carried out on the streets, door to door, in hospitals and even rural areas; many people were baptized; others have repented and are ready to be baptized. They have taken care of 50 orphans and eight widows. During their trip to Uganda in December, Pastor Masih and Daniel baptized over twenty people. They were able to bring a witch doctor, who was popular to non-Christians, to Christ Jesus along with the 19 members of his family. Three Muslims were also saved and baptized; in fact, one of the three was their taxi driver. RwandaThank God we were lead to work with a Pastor who was not only a Pastor but a Bible Teacher. He is a very humble man and was very grateful and thankful for the support we gave him. In fact, we gave him $400 to help his ministry and he informed us that this was the first time he had ever received that large of an amount. He was so excited to put this money towards saving souls.South AfricaWe were able to obtain several videos that we will share from our Pastor Ravi Govender sharing his testimony to his life. In 2016, we were able to help him buy a vehicle to be able to travel and reach others spreading the Word. Since 2013, we are sending $6000 a year to support him and his family. The church in South Africa is growing and we expect great things in the future coming from his ministry.Dubai (UAE)We have been helping one of our workers train in Bible Studies. He finished his Bachelors Degree in Theology and is plann
