Free shuttle program: The Explore Washington Park Shuttle links visitors from the Washington Park Light Rail Station to all of the major attractions in the park. Visitors are encouraged to take transit to the park and catch the free shuttle. Washington Park transit ridership increased 26% over the previous year, providing 132,735 rides on the intra park free shuttle. The shuttle provided 99,736 rides to the park via the overflow parking shuttle in fiscal 2017-2018. The WPTMA also provides a free shuttle that links the Oregon Zoo, Portland Children's Museum and World Forestry Center to overflow parking lots on busy weekend days. In partnership with Portland Bureau and Portland Parks & Recreation, the Rose Garden Shuttle Stop redesigned to meet ADA requirements for both TriMet and free shuttle. It can accommodate up to 25 people.
