About this organization
Mission
Applied Technology Foundation distributes computers to refugees and low-income families. The computers that are given to qualified families are donated by businesses, local families, and other organizations in the community. Volunteers and interns from local colleges and universities refurbish the used computer by erasing all data and installing new operating systems, programs, and Internet connections. ATF partners with other local humanitarian agencies to help distribute the computers to families in need.

We distribute hundreds of computers each year to families and students in need. Businesses and others donate computers and volunteers refurbish them. All data is erased and we install Microsoft Windows 10. Our hope is to improve the quality of life for those in need. We were established in 2013 as a non-profit, community-based organization with 501(c) status. Visit our training site at www.computercampus.org. We partner with other agencies to distribute the computers to qualified recipients. Clients contribute a small administrative fee to help offset the costs of refurbishing the computers and Chromebooks.
