PROUDLY RAISES FUNDING, COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND AWARENESS FOR ITS AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS ADDRESSING THE MANY FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELL-BEING OF OUR COMMUNITY'S CHILDREN AND FAMILIES DURING TIMES OF NEED. THE EMBRACE FAMILIES FOUNDATION INCREASES FINANCIAL SUPPORT THROUGH DIRECT SOLICITATION AND SPECIAL EVENTS. EMBRACE FAMILIES FOUNDATION'S TEAM INCREASES COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT TO HELP SUSTAIN AND ENHANCE SERVICES THROUGH A VARIETY OF COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING ACTIVITIES. EMBRACE FAMILIES FOUNDATION IS CONTRACTED BY EMBRACE FAMILIES, INC. TO SOLICIT SUPPORT ON BEHALF OF ITS AFFILIATED AGENCIES. EMBRACE FAMILIES FOUNDATION'S SUCCESS SUPPORTS A COMMUNITY-BASED APPROACH TO PROTECTING CHILDREN AND STRENGTHENING FAMILIES, WHICH HELPS TO BUILD A STRONG CENTRAL FLORIDA COMMUNITY. FUNDRAISING HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE THE ANNUAL DANCE, DREAM & INSPIRE EVENT, MANICURE MOVEMENT MONTH-LONG INITIATIVE, AND A NEW GOLF TOURNAMENT, FORE OUR KIDS. THESE EVENTS RAISED OVER $268,000 IN PROGRAM SUPPORT TO PREVENT CHILD ABUSE AND INCREASE FAMILY STABILITY, AND TO CONTINUE NEW PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE CAREER BUILDER SUMMER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, WHICH SAW 17 TEENS IN FOSTER CARE BENEFIT FROM A FOUR-WEEK PAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY. EMBRACE FAMILIES FOUNDATION ALSO WORKS WITH INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATIONS TO MEET THEIR SPECIFIC PHILANTHROPIC GOALS IN THE AREAS OF AT-RISK CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. COMMUNITY RELATIONS HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE COLLECTING OVER 2,500 HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE AND OTHER PROGRAMS, 140 THANKSGIVING DINNER BASKETS FOR FAMILIES IMPACTED BY HOMELESSNESS, AS WELL AS MAKING INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATIONS AND BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH INDIVIDUALS, CIVIC AND FAITH ORGANIZATIONS, AND CORPORATIONS, WHICH ENHANCES THE COMMUNITY'S ENGAGEMENT IN THE LOCAL CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM OF CARE.
