FURTHER, LIFT OFFERS ACCESS TO HIGH-END MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES. SIMILAR MACHINES IN INDUSTRY ARE NORMALLY DEDICATED TOWARD LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURING WITH LIMITED ABILITY TO BE UTILIZED FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT. LIFT SOLVES THIS ISSUE AND BRIDGES THE GAP BETWEEN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AND MANUFACTURING. LIFT'S CAPABILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, MECHATRONICS AND ROBOTIC WELDING/JOINING, LINEAR FRICTION WELDING, INCREMENTAL FORMING, STAMPING, HYDROFORMING, EXTRUSION, PLASMA SURFACE-PRE-TREATMENT AND PLASMA COATING, AND POWDER METALLURGY. ADDITIONALLY, LIFT MAINTAINS A FULL MACHINE SHOP AND A FULL SUITE OF ANALYTICAL AND NONDESTRUCTIVE EVALUATION CAPABILITIES WITHIN ITS WORLD-CLASS METROLOGY LABORATORY.
