The Ahl Al-Bayt Seminary was established to provide specialized religious education and training to followers of the Shia Muslim faith. The seminary's full-time program of study is designed to prepare students to serve as religious scholars and leaders for Shia Muslim communities in North & South America and in Western Europe by familiarizing them with both traditional Islamic seminary disciplines and with the modern scholarship and competencies necessary for effective and constructive engagement with local society. The seminary intends to devote substantially all of its time to pursuing its activities of religious instruction. The seminary will be funded principally by donations made by its director/trustees and by other members of the public.
