Mission

Advancing educational equity in Boston by providing opportunity and access to high-quality schools

About

Schools - the primary focus of BSF's program work includes the identification and direct support of high-quality district, charter, and catholic schools which are able to grow to serve more students. BSF works with these schools to support their growth and ensure that the schools maintain their high quality as they grow. In addition, BSF works directly with families and community leaders in Boston to better understand how and why families choose schools in Boston. We then work with schools to provide services that families are interested in, and we develop tools to help families learn more about schools.
