ProjectCURATE is formed to help train individuals and communities understand and respond to underlying systemic issues related to urban living. This is done through group interaction, education, workshops and seminars. Experts in the field of Sociology, Religion and Race, Contextual Theology and Human Development teach, train and develop both content and process related to creating unity, invoking social change and creating a collaborative network across racial, ethnic and economic boundaries. ProjectCURATE writes curricula, creates learning processes, leads workshops, seminars, lectures and helps to organize community events around issues such as: poverty, crime, incarceration, immigration and racism.Program expenses include the development of each of these curriculum; cost of facilitation of the cohorts, cost of training the Teaching Fellows.
