Super Stars Literacy believes that when a child learns to read, they are empowered to transform their future. Because a low income student child who is not a proficient reader by 3rd grade is twelve times more likely to later drop out of school, SSL partners with under-resourced schools to provide extended learning time intervention services to at-risk K-2nd grade students, helping them to develop the literacy and social skills needed to complete their education and participate in a 21st century workforce.
