Mission

The Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) is dedicated to educating Congressional, military and civilian national security decision-makers on American defense and strategic interests, primarily in the Middle East, the cornerstone of which is a robust U.S.-Israeli security cooperation. JINSA believes that a strong American military and national security posture is the best guarantor of peace and the survival of our values and civilization.

About

JINSA's Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy was created in 2013 to perform intensive, serious and innovative research and advocacy on vital U.S. defense, strategic and general national security issues related to Israel and the Middle East. In this capacity, it furthers JINSA's larger mission to provide leadership on critical national security issues, promote U.S. security cooperation with like-minded democracies, engage the U.S. defense community on Israel's role in regional security and improve awareness of the importance of a strong U.S. defense capability. The center's research and outreach are directed through interdisciplinary task forces of former senior government officials, retired senior military officers, industry experts, business leaders and others.
