Our purpose is to round up, care and rehabilitate wild horses dying from starvation.
About
2017 brought more challenges to the wild horse herds in America. To that extent, we spent more time in adoptions and public awareness. We helped other groups in Nevada with the education aspect through our 'chili pepper program', which is an outreach program in Nevada to help rescue, transport and rehome wild horses. We took a more active boots on the ground program in Nevada adding the chilli pepper program into ours, giving us more outreach and volunteers to promote our cause. We were able to house and care for more pregnant mares and their foals. We dealt with the Bureau of Land Management with input as to the herd management program across the United States which is an ongoing problem. We continued to maintain our herd and educate people as to the visibility of wild horses in general on the 50 million acres across the United States.
