THE FAMILY SAFETY DIVISION INCLUDES THREE PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL SAFETY OF THE FAMILY UNIT. DEVELOPING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A SAFE ENVIRONMENT (DOSE) IS A 26-WEEK PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL GROUP-SETTING PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN COURT-ORDERED TO COMPLETE A BATTERER'S INTERVENTION PROGRAM. OUR GROUP APPROACH FOCUSES ON CONCEPTS OF EDUCATION, MOTIVATION, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND RESPONSIBILITY TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF ABUSIVE BEHAVIORS. ADDITIONALLY, ANGER MANAGEMENT, A 13-WEEK PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL, CO-ED GROUPSETTING PROGRAM, IS OFFERED FOR INDIVIDUALS TO LEARN BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION TECHNIQUES TO MANAGE AND REDUCE THE FREQUENCY OF STRESS AND UNHEALTHY ANGER RESPONSES. LASTLY, SUPERVISED VISITATION OFFERS A SAFE SPACE FOR CHILDREN TO SPEND TIME WITH A PARENT OR FAMILY MEMBER WHEN THE COURT HAS DETERMINED SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED. OUR EXCHANGE SERVICES ENABLE SAFE OPTIONS FOR PARENTS OR OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS TO SAFELY DROP OFF AND PICK UP CHILDREN FOR VISITATION. THIS KEEPS CHILDREN SAFE AND ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR CONTACT BETWEEN ADULT FAMILY MEMBERS DURING TIMES OF CONFLICT.
