Mission

To fill prescriptions for the needy

About

The St. Vincent Depaul Community Pharmacy demonstrates excellence in providing medical prescription services to those in need. This program is improving the quality of life for many of the needy by filling life sustaining prescriptions for illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. The program is a pharmacy of 'last resort' for the elderly, poor and homeless who would otherwise go without their much needed medical prescriptions. The community pharmacy fills over $1 million worth of prescription medicines annually. A large group of volunteers made the pharmacy a reality. These dedicated volunteers include physicians who donate samples, pharmacists who donate their time and skill, and numerous volunteers who pick-up samples, sort and stock medications, and interview clients.
