The Texas Brigades mission is to educate and empower youths with leadership skills and knowledge in wildlife, fisheries, and land stewardship to become conservation ambassadors for a sustained natural resource legacy

Texas Brigades hosted 7 summer camps this past year for approximately 200 youths, ages 13-17, and then works with them throughout the year to encourage development and use of life skills (e.g. leadership, public speaking) and dissemination of wildlife and natural resource management information. Texas Brigades offers college scholarships to graduates who actively disseminate natural resources information and subsequently enroll in an institution of higher education. Texas Brigades educated another 200 youths by offering its advanced leadership development program (W.I.L.D.), for ages 18-23, as well as one-day experiences to ages 9-17.
