We provide professional music therapy services and recreational music experiences to those in need. Music making and enjoyment is clinically proven to ease pain and suffering and enhance learning. Our four core programs are: 1) Semper Sound - supports military service members and veterans with stress- and trauma-related physical and psychological diagnoses; 2) Healing Notes - improves the well-being, quality of life, and physical health of young children facing severe medical issues; 3) Mindful Music - shares social and supportive music experiences with older adults in residential facilities through an innovative volunteer training program; and 4) Sound Minds - strengthens bonds between teen parents and their children and encourages preschool development at high school infant day care centers. Our since our inception in 2004, we have served close to 100,000 individuals, from infants to seniors, throughout San Diego County. In addition to direct services, we develop evidence-based best practice protocols that can be easily replicated across the country.
