State Grant-In-Aid Wahiawa Hale o Maluhia (HoM) Proram establishes a community hub for holistic homeless services, onsite amenities, and emergency housing options. HoM incorporates a person-centered, harm and trauma reduction approach that will provide low barriers to program entry; provide food, clothing and other basic needs; access or referral to supportive services; assist with substance abuse and mental health resources as needed; and uses housing first to provide clients who desire housing with options to place them into housing as quickly as possible. Funds cover direct client services and onsite amenities for the at-imminent risk and homeless population of Central Oahu-North Shore-Mililani, Aiea-Pearl City- Waipahu-Ewa- Kapolei and neighboring communities.
