The group is currently working on a strategic policy plan, scheduled for draft release at the end of 2019, focused on change in six key policy areas: education & workforce, health & human services, infrastructure, natural resources, justice & safety, and government performance.Core to the work of Texas 2036 is the use of data to inform planning and drive decision making. The Data Platform allows users to visualize, manipulate, and download datasets from trusted sources that can educate Texans, drive informed policy development, and measure state success.
