PLATTE VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER (PVMC) BECAME THE FIRST PRIVATE GENERAL MEDICAL-SURGICAL HOSPITAL IN ADAMS AND SOUTHERN WELD COUNTIES IN 1960. FOR 47 YEARS, PLATTE VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER WAS LOCATED ON SEVEN ACRES AT 18TH AND BRIDGE STREET IN BRIGHTON. IN 2007, PLATTE VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER MOVED TO A 50-ACRE CAMPUS AT I-76 AND 144TH AVENUE.TODAY, PLATTE VALLEY IS A 98-BED COMMUNITY HOSPITAL. AS A MEMBER OF THE SCL HEALTH SYSTEM, PVMC HAS BEEN DESIGNATED ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST PATIENT-CENTERED HOSPITALS BY PLANETREE, INC. PLATTE VALLEY'S 10 PILLARS OF HEALING ARE INCORPORATED INTO EVERY PATIENT EXPERIENCE.
