Mission

edeemer Presbyterian Church exists to celebrate, in word and deed, the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our neighborhood and throughout the city. What is the Gospel? It is the announcement (literally “good news”) that Jesus’ resurrection was the beginning of salvation for the entire cosmos and will be completed when he returns. God is restoring the peace (shalom) of his creation through the work of Christ and is renewing people, families, neighborhoods, cities and nations, as people trust and follow him. How do we celebrate the Gospel? Through faithful proclamation and obedient demonstration. Weekly worship services are the core opportunity for everyone to know how God is setting things right and to thank him publicly for it. This public celebration spills over to the rest of our lives where we serve our neighbors as Christ has served us. This is why our church is always looking for new ways to be good neighbors. We are passionate about seeing this city rebuilt, renewed, and rejoicing.

To provide the critical resources for the University of New Orleans to achieve its mission of providing educational excellence to a diverse undergraduate and graduate student body and creating knowledge through research.

Lsu Health Sciences Building Foundation in Shreveport

Mission

Our mission is to inspire donors to invest in LSU Health Shreveport and steward contributions toward its support. The foundation will acquire, hold, encumber, improve, lease, donate and/or sell real property on behalf of the related organization, the LSU Health Sciences Foundation. All such real property shall be for the sole use of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport.

Caddo Bossier Soccer Association

Mission

Teaching soccer fundamentals and discipline to area children through the use of instructional guidance and team play participation

Scott Boudin Festival Association Inc.

Mission

Annual weekend festival event funded by local businesses and admission fees. The weekend festivities include a pageant, carnival, various bands, contest, arts and crafts. Boudin is plentiful along with other tasty options as well as beverages for purchase.

Providing adequate housing under Title IV to elderly and/or disabled persons under Section 8 agreements with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Missing Piece Inc.

Mission

The Missing Piece, Inc. (a not for profit organization) offers a range of services for autistic children and adults including applied behavior analysis services. These services will be provided to the public and funded by charitable contributions, private pay, and or insurance coverage. The Missing Piece Inc. will also undertake fund raising activities to support community awareness, education, and support for those diagnosed with autism and related family members.

Mission

An organization formed to promote jazz music and related cultural traditions holds an annual jazz music festival featuring concerts, wide variety of shrimp, and full variety of activities.

Grants to the agency from the department of education, nutrition assistance of Louisiana for reimbursement of meals to childcare providers for children of low income parents

Demons Unlimited Foundation

Mission

To promote the educational and cultural welfare of Northwestern State University and its athletic department. Marketing and promotion of NSU athletics, scholarships, and direct support based on donor designations.

Direct care services to elderly and disabled; independent living care services.

Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge Inc.

Mission

Bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income elderly and low income disabled homeowners. Approximately 100 homes were repaired during FY18.
