Through a coalition of 34 dedicated partners from 20 community organizations working together to create a high quality, comprehensive, early childhood system, and the various resources and services provided by the council, some recent achievements include: --Distribution of 31,700 in quality improvement funding to eligible childcare providers; --Support of three childcare programs to achieve a Colorado Shines high- quality rating; --127 professionals achieved early childhood professional credentials in the professional development (PDIS) system; --Engaged 113 early childhood professionals in training/professional development; --Provided 72 hours of expanding quality in infant toddler care (EQ/IT) coaching; --Early childhood mental health consultants have supported more than 1,800 hours of consultation for 78 classrooms in 31 licensed early care centers, home childcare providers, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs. --Following the roll out of the new career page on our website and our marketing campaign to promote early childhood as a profession, there have been over 9,000 visits to our website.
