Mission

L’Arche is a community where every partner is part of our shared mission, and where people with and without intellectual disabilities live in relationships of mutuality and trust. Our societies need everyone, especially the most vulnerable, to become involved in the building of a more humane world. L’Arche was founded in the Catholic tradition and today operates as an interfaith organization that welcomes people of all religions and beliefs. In L’Arche communities, people with and without developmental disabilities learn, grow, and live together in ways that leave a profound and lasting impact on their lives.
