Mission

Skagit Symphony's mission is to inspire and transform our community through the power of music.

About

CONCERT SEASON: Each year, Skagit Symphony presents a season of four evening concerts, three School Concerts, and a community Family Concert, featuring our orchestra of volunteer musicians and extraordinary guest soloists. Our evening concerts present well-known pieces of great classical music as well as beautiful lesser-known orchestral works, in the state-of-the-art McIntyre Hall on the Skagit Valley College campus in Mount Vernon, Washington. More than 1800 concertgoers attended our evening concerts last season--our 38th-- and closed each with standing ovations. Skagit Symphony treasures its role as the area's only community orchestra, composed of musicians from fourteen cities and towns of our area. We are particularly proud of our education program, which includes our School Concerts, Family Concert, and outreach to middle and high school music students.
