The annual quilt & fiber arts festival was moved to the Edward D Hanson conference center in Everett, WA allowing for the festival activities to be in one location. Educational programming was reviewed and a new structure was adopted to begin implementing in 2019: workshops & classes, 'Let's Start Series (beginning classes in all aspects of quilting and fiber arts,) and the Heritage Series (programs designed to explore fiber arts and textiles in different cultures and traditions).
