Before we move to NYC, we’re honoring 6 incredible organizations that made a direct and meaningful impact on our lives and on the community we’ve been proud to call home for the last 6 years.

🐶 HSSV—We rescued our beloved Stevie here and her puppy classes took place here. HSSV is where our family grew and where so many animals find their forever homes. #AdoptDontShop

🌊 Monterey Bay Aquarium—We got scuba certified in Monterey by an amazing shop called Bamboo Reef. It’s our favorite, most frequented dive spot and where we fell in love with the Pacific. Monterey Bay is filled with so much life and we’ll forever be grateful to the aquarium for the care and protection it provides its marine life.

🦉 WCSV (Now merged with the Peninsula Humane Society)—Danielle volunteered here doing everything from cleaning cages, washing dishes, doing laundry, administering medicine, feeding red-tailed hawks the frozen remains of mice, bottle feeding baby squirrels, and preparing fresh veggies for orphaned possums.

🥫 Second Harvest—Danielle volunteered here with the Daffy team and in just one shift we helped 250 families. Second Harvest has left a lasting impression on both of us and we are appreciative of all they’re doing to fight food insecurity in the 125 locations they operate in across the Bay Area.

🏠 City Hope—A nonprofit introduced to Danielle by Daffy’s CFO Ed Park. It’s a coffee shop in the front and a home for those without enough living space in the Tenderloin. The homeless situation in SF is devastating and an issue we are deeply passionate about and will continue to help where and how we can for as long as it exists.

🎷 SF Jazz—We’ve spent countless evenings here enjoying world-class live music. Most recently Snarky Puppy. SFJAZZ is the heartbeat of this city’s culture.

We’ll miss this community deeply, but its generosity, resilience, and creativity will always stay with us.
