Mission

The Mount Desert Nursing Association serves the town of Mount Desert in homecare services, free health assessments, cooking instruction, a loan closet, and numerous other health programs that protect and promote the health of our residents.

About

In 2018, our first year of Medicare accreditation, MDNA delivered 502 RN visits, 671 physical therapy visits, 150 occupational therapy visits, and 487 home health aide visits. We also delivered under our self-pay program, 115 home health aide visits, 55 physical therapy visits, and 414 skilled nurse visits. The following services were offered: Medicare home health, palliative care, personal care attendants, in-home physical and occupational therapy, monthly blood pressure screenings, and medical equipment loans.
