Mission

We believe in developing players that can make in game decisions for themselves based on each unique scenario that the game creates.

About

The purpose of Heritage Soccer Club is to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer among the youth under the age of 19 without regard to race, creed, or sex. In addition, we expose members to colleges via coaches and college showcases, educate members with regards to college admission requirements & NCAA procedures, promote and support community involvement opportunities for teams and members, and promote and support HSC community of teams, members and families. We believe in developing players that can make in game decisions for themselves based on each unique scenario that the game creates. No game is ever the same. We challenge our players to be creative, while teaching them to read situations, recognize space, and manage the game. Teaching the 4 pillars of soccer (technical, tactical, physical and psychological) and the principles of attack and defense, our players are well equipped to deal with all game situations. Our first development phase focuses on technical ball skills and physical coordination (U6-U10). Phase two balances technical development with tactical understanding, while continuing to build on the physical base from phase one and starting to incorporate the psychological side of the game and team cohesion (U11-U14). Phase three focuses mainly on the tactical decision making within a game while continuing to develop the psychological aspects of the game (U15-U19).
