Mission

Comic Relief Inc., a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity that operates the annual nationwide fundraising campaign, Red Nose Day. Red Nose Day is on a mission to end child poverty, one nose at a time. Money raised supports programs that ensure children in need are safe, healthy and educated. Half of Red Nose Day's grant money will be spent right here in America on projects close to home. The other half will be spent in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Beneficiaries of Red Nose Day grants include charity organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs of America; charity:water; Children's Health Fund; Feeding America; Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance; National Council of La Raza; Save the Children; and The Global Fund.

Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign run by the non-profit organization Comic Relief, Inc. It is part of a global movement that unites celebrities, comedy and the public to raise awareness and money to help children in need in the US and internationally. Red Nose Day has raised over $1 billion dollars globally in the last 25 years. In 2019, the fifth annual Red Nose Day was held on May 23, 2019. Within the first five years, Red Nose Day has raised over $200 million in America. Money raised is used to address the immediate needs of children by making grants to organizations to keep kids safe, healthy and educated.
