Mission

The organization operates a community center and develops programs to meet the needs of children in the participating communities. The center focuses on youth programs from pre-school to high school, with some adult programs also offered. The center coordinates its efforts with 20 local organizations in order to eliminate duplicate services and best utilize limited resources. We are a unique organization in that we provide our services to eight towns in the Newfound Lake Region of NH with each town paying a percentage of our budget. The total town portions that we receive fund 29% of our total budget. The remainder is raised through donations, sponsorship and program fees. We offer after school, summer day camps, youth sports, adult fitness and sports, special events and much more! We employ many teens from our Regional High School in our programs as well as having hundreds of volunteers that help us to provide the many sports teams, fundraisers and events that we offer. In recent years we have built a strong teen program and implemented a Teen Council that oversees many activities. They have taken on the management of all teen dances and volunteer at most of our events. In 2017-18 they raised $20,000 towards our gym renovation project. The TTCC offers scholarships for all of our programs so that no child is denied the opportunity to participate in a recreation program for lack of funds. In 2018 we provided $33,000 in scholarship funds to local youth.
