Local News and Digital Coverage: NHPR's public broadcasting service provides quality reporting and analysis to approximately 177,000 listeners on-air and 60,000 online each week. An award-winning local newsroom provides in-depth coverage of public policy, health, the environment, arts, politics, the economy and education. NHPR broadcasts 7 to 10 hours of locally produced news each week. In 2017-2018, several in-depth series explored topics of particular interest to New Hampshire including The First Decade: Early Childhood Disparities and the Future of N.H.'s Kids which was honored with a National Edward R.
