The mission of MetroWest Legal Services is to provide legal advocacy to protect and advance the rights of the poor, elderly, disabled and other disenfranchised people in our service area and to assist them in obtaining legal, social and economic justice. We help our clients secure access to basic needs and challenge institutional barriers in order to achieve equal justice for all.

During the fiscal year 2019, MWLS provided advice, brief service and full representation to 3,135 clients. 127 legal clinics were held benefitting 474 attendees. 52 outreach presentations/trainings were held benefitting 1,862 attendees. 152 volunteer attorneys provided legal representation in 338 cases, donating 1,672 pro-bono hours valued at $451,440. MWLS continued with a second year of the civil legal assistance for victims of crime project and the juvenile immigrant relief project.
