In 2018, BMFI exhibited 241 repertory and first-run films at over 6,000 screenings; offered 121 unique film studies courses, lectures, and seminars to nearly 3,700 adult learners; introduced concepts of visual literacy to nearly 1,100 third-graders; and taught filmmaking to 12 high school students. Some 9,970 people across the tristate region were active BMFI members and 5,330 people made contributions to BMFI in addition to membership.
