The organization provides amateur youth hockey teams to approximately 160 children.

About

Ridgefield Amateur Hockey Association, Inc. only provides one service, running hockey teams for their players. During 2018, the program had 15 teams which served approximately 160 children. During the course of the season, the organization ran approximately 520 team practice sessions, teams participated in approximately 440 games, and each of the 15 teams attended either 2 or 3 hockey tournaments. In addition, the teams ran non team specific 'skills sessions' focused on teaching individual skills to players. Each team has a third party non-parent paid contractor working as a coach as well as parent volunteer coaches, managers, and scoring officials. Each game is officiated by 2 independent paid referees who are provided by an independent referee organization.
