Mission
Founded in 1912 by the Cos Cob Colony of the American Expressionists, the Greenwich Art Society's mission is to further education and stimulate interest in the visual arts through classes, exhibitions, lectures and gallery trips. The organization serves to promote a further cultural contribution to the community through scholarships and educational outreach programs to underserved groups and individuals.
