Founded in 1900, King Manor Association of L.I., Inc. operates King Manor as a historic house museum to preserve and interpret the home and legacy of anti-slavery Senator, American statesman and Constitution signer Rufus King. Our mission is to involve and educate children, families and adults in local and national history. We serve thousands of visitors each year through educational programs for schoolchildren; historic site tours and exhibits; public and community programs; research and scholarship; and preservation of historic collections. King Manor is designated a NYC landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
