In 2016, The JTM Foundation engaged in fundraising efforts including a $570,000 capital campaign to renovate the Oncology Unit; special events and annual appeals; planned giving; and grant solicitation to raise the maximum funds possible to support the healing environment at Mather Hospital. Several events and efforts supported the Fortunato Breast Health Center, including the annual gala One Enchanted Evening, Families Walk for Hope and the Pink Rock Golf Outing. Other initiatives, such as the Mather Golf Classic and direct mail campaigns, provided significant support to Nursing, the largest hospital department. The Foundation also recorded and acknowledged all gifts and ensured appropriate recognition and stewardship.
