About

Bnei Aram Soba literally means "Children of Syria" (using the biblical name for the region). The organization was originally founded to assist refugees and recent arrivals who had escaped from the war torn country, but has evolved into a full featured social service organization. Some of the services now provided by BAS include: - Brooklyn Service volunteering services. - Sponsorship of various youth and senior programs (partially funded with assistance of DYCD and DFTA). - Bet Din Aram Soba dispute mediation services. - Publication of Community, a family magazine promoting tradition and upstanding values. - Publications and various books, a newsletter and support for educational efforts and community development.
