Mission

We are hope, love, compassion and a voice of empowerment. As navigators, advocates and educators, we demystify the autism diagnosis and connect those impacted by autism to a full circle of resources-from early diagnosis and education support for the quality of life of adults-who then contribute back to our mission.

About

Kids for Camp is an intensive educational opportunity for skills acquisition and positive behavior support based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Approximately 72 campers (age 2-25) work on their assessed individual needs in communication, social and vocational skills in both classroom and community settings while having fun with their peers. 54 educators learn best practice skills and carry them back to the classrooms across our area. Project Lifesaver in partnership with Escambia Search & Rescue features tracking bracelets for individuals who are at risk of wandering away. In addition, we offer training classes of all types for community first responders on effective interactions with those with autism. See schedule O. Autism Pensacola improves the lives of those with autism through member services which includes: peer guidance/information via phone and in person regarding area resources and school services.
